Rules and weights
Weights and the prominence formula are this page's own scoring model, shown in full above, not a published standard.
How the detection works
Detection runs five literal rules: regexes for pre-ticked consent inputs, a prominence score parsed from inline styles and classes, timer phrases near pressure words, negation counts per sentence, and click depth between a manage control and a reject control. The rules match wording and structure rather than meaning, so a pattern worded unusually can pass and innocent markup can be flagged — which is why every finding prints the exact matched text and the rule behind it, and you judge the evidence.
Statutory periods, citations and complaint authorities come from an embedded reference table shipped with the page; they are reference data, not legal advice. Deadlines are real calendar dates computed from the letter date you set, and a deadline that lands on a weekend moves to the next weekday. Public holidays are not accounted for, so check the date against the authority's own calendar as well.
India's DPDP Act 2023 sets no statutory response period, so for that regime the page computes an assumed 30 days and labels the date as an assumption rather than as law.
Nothing is sent anywhere: no network requests, no storage and no uploads. Closing the tab discards everything.
